My Personal Healing Journey

2 min read

After a lifetime of being busy, being there for others, doing things for others

Supporting others and healing others

I’ve been taking time to rest, to do nothing, to just be me.

In the quiet I’ve been thinking, working through things that have happened in my life

Working through all the times I’ve been the “strong one”

The death of loved ones, my wonderful mother in law, being the one to pack up her lifetimes belongings when I was only 26

Then my dad, ringing people and companies, dealing with paperwork hours after his death

Supporting my mum as she was near the end of her life, being told by the wonderful district nurses that the end was near.

Fighting the bureaucracy of her GP and the hospital who she worked for all of her life as they refused to see this and kept sending her home.

Holding her hand as she passed within days of finally being taken seriously and being admitted to a hospice.

Watching helplessly as close loved ones had mental health crises.

Being forced to change jobs after 26 years due to a restructure and having to start anew in a different department

Living with chronic pain and arthritis for 10 years until I had my hip replacement.

But all this was ok as I was the “strong one”, the one who made people laugh, who nurtured and supported others and said “I was ok” when asked

I now know that even though I dealt with all this, I hadn’t healed from it

I now realise that to fully heal from within I needed to do the shadow work to acknowledge just how much the bad times effected me, to say aloud how I truly feel.

To release the hurt and upset, to ask my Guardian Angel and Spirit Guides to support me, to give me hope that tomorrow will be better than the previous years have been.

Receiving Angelic Healing, receiving intuitive messages, and guidance from card readings have helped me to re-build myself.

To fully heal from within so that when people ask are you ok? I can say with certainty and mean it when I reply “I’m good thanks”

This is why I’m so passionate to help others who are struggling, who are smiling when their hearts are breaking. I want you to know I am there for you, reach out to me I will hold your hand (on Zoom). I will support you.

If you would want to know more about how I can help and support you please do get in touch.
